$10 Gift Certificate Giveaway...

Today our giveaway is a $10 gift certificate to Sweet Pea. To enter, just leave a comment about what you do to make Valentine's Day special at your house...We've been decorating at the store and have the cutest Valentine Day bows, so I'm in the mood (don't worry, as usual I'm rushing it and you still have about three weeks to get your shopping done)...

  1. We call it "Love Day" at our house. We give EXTRA hugs all day and make sure each person is told why they are loved all day.

  2. I make huge sugar cookies with lots of pink frosting for the kids after school. It's a tradition that has been in our family since my Grandma was a little girl. One year I was sick and didn't make them and my kids were sure I didn't love them.:) so no matter what the cookies are made.

  3. We just do as much heart-shaped stuff as we can: Heart-shaped pancakes, heart-shaped PB&J sandwiches, etc. This year we're gonna try heart-shaped rice krispie treats.

  4. I love to cut out paper harts (or harps as my son called them last year) and I put them up all over the house after the kids went to bed. My son thought it was the best thing ever

  5. It's just my toddler (too young to understand) & husband & I, so this year on V-day, I will make a special meal. I got those plastic champagne glasses with hearts on them at the dollar store...cheap, but fun. And then I'll pull out the real china for dinner! Should be fun!

  6. I write love notes to my hubby and my kids to let them know how much I love them!! I think my new tradition is going to be some kind of little mailbox with their name on it and they can get some little mail everyday. I saw it online and I loved the idea! We also like to blow up lots of pink, red, and white ballons and just play with them!!

  7. When I had children at home I would kick Valentines to them. You go outside, set them by the front door, Kick the door and run and hide, then watch them get the Valentine, even when they were older they still liked to do it!

  9. I sent a heart shaped pizza to my husband at work (I also did it for my brother once). I also remember how excited I was to receive a heart shaped basket of goodies from my mother.
