  1. I'd say I'm spending about the same this Easter. Found a cute little dress for my 11 year old daughter a week or two back at SWEAT PEA! It's hard to find dresses with sleeves these days, and I paid only $2.99!!! Now I can spend more on other things!

  2. I did the same thing- got a spring dress for my 7 year old for $6! Now I am coming in today to see if I can find something for my son.
We have decided to spend less money this year- and spend more time instead. We are going camping over spring break- and might do a little egg hunt while we are there :)

  3. We are spending less! And less on candy. We went for group things for the kids. Just a few items that they can use TOGETHER!

  4. spending less. bought a cute dress for my daughter that was sleeveless. i made some cute easter blocks for my friend in exchange for a new sleeve on the dress. i then found matching shirts for the two boys and used a 30%off coupon on them. trying to make things fun and simple.

  6. Spending less! We made sure to buy the kids Easter outfits on sale, and we won't be doing too much candy. I think I always go overboard on the candy, and then half of it goes to waste anyway :(

  9. Spending less. I bought candy for my husband & I together and less of it because we don't need it in the first place!! My daughter's easter dress was purchased at an after-christmas-sale!

  10. We're spending less than five dollars on Easter this year. Our bun is still in the oven so no need for an Easter outfit. We've only bought one bag of Easter candy (and it's already been devoured) and Easter dinner is at grandma's house. :)

  11. Less on this Easter because we'll be visiting Grandma and she'll probably insist on paying for everything. =) Maybe we'll make a special trip into Sweet Lizzies though...

  13. We are for sure spending less this year on Easter. The bad economy has not been very kind to our family this year and so we have had to cut back on all the holidays, but it is funny how I have come to learn that We can still be quite happy without all the extra "stuff" that we have all been brain washed into believing we have to have for certain holidays. Easter this year for my family will most likely consist of items from the dollar store, coloring easter eggs, and we will of course be making a stop into Sweet Pea Boutiqe to look for dresses for my three girls :-)

  14. I haven't done any shopping yet, but I sure hope to be spending less! I hope to find good sales this week on the stuff I need for dessert and I'm going shopping on Saturday for stuff for Jace, so let's hope we can find something cheap.
